On 11/5 Ivan tested positive for Covid and was managing symptoms at home. On the morning of 11/12 he woke up and requested that Lizzie take him to the hospital where he was later admitted. Over the last week Ivan has remained in the hospital on maximum oxygen, not improving but not necessarily getting worse. This morning, 11/20 Lizzie received a call from Ivan’s doctor that he was getting worse and would be moved to the ICU and put on a ventilator. As you can imagine, this is extremely scary, stressful, and saddening for Lizzie and the girls. She has been unable to visit Ivan as he is considered a critically ill patient and has remained in isolation. Please, if you are able, consider donating to the Ortiz family.
