Hello, I’m Ashley Gillum. First, I never thought I would ever be typing these Words. I want to Thank everyone for their ongoing Love and Support over the last 24 Hours.

On Saturday, November 6th, I had a Well Check in Place for my Dad. I hadn’t heard from him for 24 hours and It didn’t sit right with me. When the Cops got into the House, I knew what they saw. My heart dropped. It ached. It Hurt. I cried. The Deputy said “I have to call you back”, I said did you find him? Is he there? Is he ok? He said “M’am, I have to call you back” and He hung up. For almost 5 whole hours I knew nothing. Nothing at all. Around 7:30pm a Deputy came to my Door Step and Asked if I was Ashley Gillum. I said Yes. He then Informed me that my Dad was Gone, That he took his Life. Last night and Today have been a Whirlwind of Emotions, Phone Calls, and Questions that I can’t answer myself that I will long for, For the rest of my Life.

I am not one to ask for anything, But he had no Life Insurance. No nothing. I now have to take care of Arrangements and laying him to Rest. If you cannot Donate, I understand. We are living in a very different world right now. All of us. If you can, You don’t Understand how much you’re Helping me. Due to the way it happened, I can’t even see him one last time. He’s gone from my World forever in so many ways. I just want to be able to put him to rest.

My Dad hurt so much after he lost my Grandparents. He was never the same. But anyone who knew him knew he was so Supportive of others, No man will ever hold the love in their heart for others that he did. He loved hard, and He was in fact the Strongest person that I knew. He loved His Granddaughters so much, They were his world and He was theirs. I’m not sure how we are going to Navigate this life without him. I tried so hard and Feel like I Failed to Help him.
