Im starting a fundraiser for my sister Deanna Hunyadi. Deanna is 45 yrs old with 3 sons and 1 grandbaby she found out she had a rare type of colon cancer on 12/3/2024. Called squamous cell carcinoma of the colon. It is extremly aggressive too. She started treatment back in January which was chemo and radiation but only made it a week due to allergic reaction that put her back at the hospital. At that time she was stage 2. While waiting for her records to be sent to OU so she could start treatment again to much time had passed by time OU got all the medical records and caused her to have to retest to make sure it hadnt spread. Well unfortunatly it did spread new lesions in colon and on lymphnodes making her stage 3 now. She has used up all leave that she had on top of got an advance in sick leave and still ran out of that. She has finally started treatment again and started her 3rd week monday. Then only 3 weeks left to go with that. Tuesday the 8th they are sending her to edmond because her second pet scan showed something wrong with her heart which her heart was fine on the first pet scan back in Dec. It could possibly of been the 5fu chemo that was given to her on her very first treatment back in January. She is staying at Hope Lodge till the end of June but she still has bills and she still has to eat, any donations would be greatly appreciated and if you cant donate please share thank you!!!
