Hi folks!  My name is Sheryl and I am on a MISSION!  My mission is to save feral cats!  I live in an rural area in Southern California called Nuevo.  Very open.  No shelter, no trees (where I live), no place to hide or get out of the elements.  I have a small colony of feral's (11) that I have been trying to care for.  I have called my County office to see if there is a TNR program to help with Spay and Neutering and was informed because of "cutbacks" no help is available.  I am out of work and what little I have I share with these furbabies!  My goal is to build a "Shelter" for these babies that is safe, sanitary and a place for them to hang out and get re-accuainted with humans so I can get them fixed and their health concerns taken care of.  The design has a large outdoor area with an inclosed space for their beds, toys, climbing and hidey holes for Momma's with babies:) I have 2 females who are currently pregnant and have dropped litters in the past.    What I am asking for is help in getting the building materials for their HOUSE!  With the price of lumber, drywall and such I just don't have it!  I know that times are tough for everyone right now.  I am just asking for a dollar from anyone who can help!  I don't need help with food ( found a place that helps out with that), vetting help I am looking into now.  I have come up with a design that will keep them safe from the coyotes who roam the area, and a place for the mothers to bring their babies to for security.  Any extra that is given after materials are bought will go to vetting and in time expanding their home!  I THANK YOU ALL from the bottom of my heart!  The ferals are forever grateful to the humans who help and LOVE THEM.
