My name is Anna. I am a mother of five beautiful girls. They, as you can see, are of all ages. I am reaching out to ask for help as our family has recently encountered a tragic time, and has been left dislocated/homeless because of it.
For the past several years, my family has encountered it's ups and downs, but we've always been able to get through it. However, this holiday season has proven to have it's challenges.
I have been actively looking for work, but have come up short down every avenue. I have submitted my resume to every employment site and have come up short. For the holiday season, I have been offered two part time jobs which I accepted, yet I don't know where it will leave us at the beginning of the year.
My daughters are enough to keep me going, and I try harder every single day because of them. Though most of the time, there seem to be more doors closing than opening, I am beyond determined to find a home for my girls.
The money that I am asking for is to provide my children with a home. I know that it is Christmas time, but right now, the only thing that my kids want is a place to call home. They deserve that! At this point, it isn't about the gifts under the tree. It's about having a place to lay our heads. A place to put our tree.
I don't have money to provide my children with gifts this year, and the money that I'm asking for will go straight to paying rent, a deposit, as well as utility deposits and moving costs.
I know that asking for this much money is an awful lot. That is why any donation means the world to us! From the bottom of our hearts, we will never be able to thank you enough for your kindness and your gratitude that you display.
Please know, this is probably the hardest thing that I have had to do is to ask people for help. I'm not very good at it. But what I can tell you, my girls are well worth it!
I pray that all of you have a very Merry Christmas! Right now, we are just hanging on to each other, and hoping that our prayers are answered. Another thing, please don't do more than what you can reasonably give. I don't want any donation to put someone else in a difficult spot.
This year has turned our family upside down. My last prayer for this year is that 2017 is the best year yet! Thank you all for your kindness, prayers and support!
