Help pay Mike’s medical bills

Hi, my name is Kevin O'Brien, and I am trying to help raise money for my brother Mike's medical bills. 22 years ago, Mike had stage 4 cancer (Hodgkin's lymphoma), which required radiation, chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant. 2 years ago Mike was diagnosed with stage three kidney cancer and had a kidney removed. While these treatments cured him of those cancers, they have caused severe long-term health issues that are not curable. Mike is now fighting Heart failure, Kidney failure, respiratory problems and diabetes which now requires short and long acting insulin. Also, for his respiratory issues, Mike is on a bi-weekly injection that costs just under $3K per injection.

Earlier this week Mike was also diagnosed with thyroid cancer, which will require surgery to remove it and further testing to see if the cancer has spread.

Over the past 2 months, Mike has been in the hospital for almost 4 weeks. This has taken an emotional and financial toll on his family (Wife Stephanie, son Preston 7, and son Rowan 3). Because Mike is the primary care giver of the boys and Stephanie has had to take time off from her job, and will now need to continue taking time off (non-paid), they have had to exhaust all of their savings.
