Please help this family!

Hi, my name is Rae Ann McGhee and I am trying to raise funds for my friends Natalie and Chris. For: Hospital medical, travel, food, and unexpected expenses. Our friends Natalie and Chris’ daughter Zoey has been very ill this year, with many extended hospital stays needed for serious and life threatening medical problems. Zoey is sweet 16 year old girl with autism and has had to endure lots of surgeries to remove most of her colon and to repair and try to save what is left. She also needs spine surgery. This has been her longest stay this time, at 1 month. Zoey was admitted early New Year’s Day and was gravely ill. Doctors didn’t think she would survive. She was put on a breathing tube and was in a comatose state for a week and endured 5 surgeries in 5 days! Zoey is now off the breathing tube and awake and alert but is still very sick. She is battling to stop lots of blood clots throughout her body and trying to fight off reaccuring fevers. Her fevers are from an unknown infection. Zoey has not been able to get her I.v. Nutrition that she needs for several weeks now because every port that it is put in get infected and has to be removed. Doctors say if no more colon is lost then in time she should be able to eat small amounts of regular food along with her needed I.V. Nutrition. Zoey has a long road to recovery and Doctors expect her to be here for many more weeks. Zoey has been very very brave with remarkable strength!
