Larry's Funeral Expenses and Memorial's

My name is Michelle Leahy and I lost the love of my life, Larry Jefferson, on Sept. 10, 2019. Larry was hospitalized on August 22 for stomach and chest pains. On  August 27th Larry collapsed in the hospital and stopped breathing, the hospital staff brought him back and he was transferred to the ICU.  Larry coded a second time a few hrs later and they were able to bring him back again after 25 minutes, but  due to a lack of oxygen there was no brain activity.  Nigel, Larry's son who has been living with us for the last 3 years and I had to decide whether to keep Larry hooked up to all the machines or let him go,  Larry had said repeatedly that if something was ever to happen to him that he didn't want to be kept alive by machines. On the night of the 9th we chose to let Larry go in peace, which was the hardest decision of our lives. 

Larry, Nigel and I lived simply, Larry was unable to work and collected a small monthly disability check. Our budget couldn't support life insurance though we talked about it from time to time. This Go Fund me will help cover the costs of the Cremation and memorial services in WA and in CA. Any monies above the memorial costs will go to Nigel's education.
