I am raising funds to help a strong and hardworking single mother of five children who is going through a very difficult time.

She works full-time but has been struggling financially because she must take unpaid time off work. This includes time away to attend her children’s doctor appointments and care for their needs, as well as three days a week when she leaves work for a few hours to attend a driving learner’s permit class. These hours are unpaid, and as a result, her paychecks have not been enough to cover rent and basic necessities like food.

She is trying her best to improve her situation by learning to drive, which would help her get to work, take her children to appointments, and become more independent. However, in the short term, this has made things even more financially challenging.

She does not have a car and does not speak English, which makes everyday life extremely difficult — from communicating with her employer, doctor appointments, accessing resources, and support. Despite all of this, she continues to work hard and do everything she can for her children.

Right now, she needs help covering her monthly rent of $1,650 and putting food on the table. Any donation, no matter the amount, would help relieve some of the stress she is carrying and allow her to focus on caring for her children and building a more stable future.
