Hello, my name is Des. My friend Catey has a sweet, fun loving and super handsome 6 month old pup named Zuko who has had some bad luck. Best guess from the vets is that shortly after he was born, his mom accidently stepped or layed on him causing his femur to break. It quickly healed on it's own but not in the proper way. It wasn't noticeable until about a month after he was brought home with Catey, when he slipped at doggy daycare and started to limp. After waiting about 2 months, he was finally seen by a specialist who told her that unfortunately the only option is to amputate the leg. The starting price for the surgery is just under $4000, worst case scenario it will be closer to $5,000.

Catey is a super hard working person who always looks on the bright side of things with a smile on her face. Im asking for help for a friend who deserves nothing but the best. And also help for her boy, who even thru obvious pain, is 1 of the happiest dogs I've ever met. Any amount, big or small, will be greatly appreciated.
