Hi friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
I’m reaching out with a heavy heart on behalf of my sweet girl, Luna — a loving, spirited German Shepherd who means the absolute world to me. Luna is more than just a dog; she’s my best friend, my protector, and a source of daily joy and comfort.
Recently, Luna was diagnosed with a serious and possible life-threatening condition called spontaneous pneumothorax — a rare complication where air leaks from the lungs and collects in the chest cavity, putting dangerous pressure on her lungs. This isn’t the result of an accident or trauma — it just happened, suddenly and without warning, and it’s most common in large, deep-chested dogs like Luna.
To help survive and breathe normally again, Luna may need specialized invasivesurgery to repair the issue and prevent it from happening again. The cost of her care, including diagnostics, treatment, and post-operative care, is overwhelming — and far more than I can manage on my own.
That’s why I’m humbly asking for your help. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward Luna’s surgery and recovery. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this with your circle would mean the world to us.
Luna has so much life and love left to give. She’s a fighter, and with your support, I know she can make it through this and come out stronger on the other side.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading, sharing, and supporting. Let’s help Luna take a deep, healthy breath again. ❤️
