We are in need of a new place to live. Right now, we are homeless. Our home, unfortunately, like many others, burned down in the Altadena, LA fires. We had just moved from San Bernardino County because my husband got really sick back on October 15, 2024., my husband is a Veteran who proudly served our country ., he has renal failure and was in ICU for 3 weeks. Now, he does dialysis 3 times a week and he is not able to work, of course. With everything that has been happening, he has not been able to get a check from EDD or SSDI. I have been disabled for 13 years and according to SSDI, my disability does not qualify yet for benefits.

So, I am here asking for help so we can rent a small place for my husband, my 17-year-old, and me. We are going through really hard times and it's so stressful and difficult, but I tell myself crying won't solve a thing. I just want a place to live for my family. This has been a never-ending nightmare.
