My name is Amelia, and I am trying to raise money for my big brother, Andrew, so that he can graduate from the University Of Michigan by the end of next semester.
Due to scheduling of classes, he has maxed out his student loans. He's been a student at UofM since the fall of 2010, and is scheduled to graduate in May of 2016. However, the University has informed him that he must pay off his $7,500 by the end of this semester or he will not be eligible to graduate.
Currently, Andrew has a full schedule of classes all while working to help pay for his apartment. As his sister, this breaks my heart. My brother has worked his butt off to reach his dreams and goals. He's beaten cancer (Leukemia), which he was diagnosed with his Junior year of HS, and gives God all the glory for his healing. He's taken control of his life and has done everything he can to accomplish his dreams in getting a degree in computer engineering.
Just like any other college student, he is exhausted from working, studying, and lack of sleep, but now with this curve ball, it's almost too much. Andrew, unfortunately, thinks he has to turn away right when he's at the final stretch. I am reaching out to you to show him that his dreams are reachable, to not give up, and to show him the love and support of others.
Not only will I be thankful for you helping my brother, but imagine the shock on Andrew's face when he finds out his dreams can now come true, thanks to your love and generosity.
