Youth Pastor Mike Etters receives Heart Transplant

Mike Etters
At the age of 42, Mike had the “widow maker” heart attack and was diagnosed in serve heart failure and given 5 years to live. The heart failure advanced so quickly that in 2022, without a heart transplant, he had a prognosis of less than 12 months.
He enrolled in multiple clinical trials in hopes to extend his life but it became clear that without a transplant, his only choice was palliative care. He was given a device as temporary support and bumped up to the top of the transplant list due to the severity of needing the heart transplant.
Miraculously, two short days later, he was given the gift of life by the generosity of an organ donor. A family found incredible strength in their time of loss to donate their loved ones organ.
Mike received his heart transplant on April 23, 2023 and is on the mend.
It was nothing short of a miracle and blessing from the Lord that Mike received a new heart so quickly. However, the unexpected speed of the transplant didn’t allow for financial or logistical planning.
Mike continuously gives back being a youth pastor, preaching the word of the Lord, volunteers with hospice and services his community by working with multiple food pantries.
This is a rare time and Mike could really use some support, prayers and financial help.
Please help give back to Mike which will assist with the transplant, regular upcoming heart biopsies and overwhelming medical expenses not covered by insurance.
Mike would never ask but I’m asking on his behalf.
