On Tuesday, August 11, 2020, one of the most strong and determined girls lost her fight to cancer. Maria Guadalupe Vieyra Lopez, 15, had defeated her battle to cancer back in 2006. Maria was regularly getting checked to avoid having her cancer return. After trying super hard throughout the years, she had graduated Roseland Elementary and  Roseland Accelerated Middle School and was so excited to start high school at Roseland University Prep. Sadly, during this summer, her cancer returned unexpectedly. After some treatment, she was determined to get chemotherapy and fight cancer again. However, nobody expected that this fight to cancer would take Maria’s life. Your support is greatly appreciated to offset funeral costs during my family's difficult time.
