Hank the Service dog

Donation protected
My Service dog Hank suffered trauma to his left side on Thursday july 8th and it quickly shut down his legs and front left paw. After spending two nights and a day at the Emergency vet, the bills were astronomical. More than we were prepared for.
His hind legs are very weak and are severely underpowered, requiring therapy to get him up to strength. He has been a psychiatric service dog for most of his 8 years working with vets and the disabled and senior citizens.
Hank has always been considered a unique dog: As of 2019, he was officially The Tallest Golden Retriever in Colorado. But now due to his large and abnormal size, he has a tough road ahead to get his strength back.
If you can help out in any way we'd greatly appreciate it, or please share this page if you can as anything helps.
Hank has an instgram page called hank_the_service_dog  if you would like to follow up on his progress.
Update: Hank had surgery today to remove three masses on his left side. one on his chin and two on his hip and upper back.
The vet bills added up so quickly we can't even deal with that right now, we just got to focus on Hank getting back up and running, literally.  Thank you for stopping by
