Jared Kelch was a young man who was loved by many. He was very loyal to his friends and family members and will be fondly remembered for how he loved to embark on new and great adventures. He was one of a kind!
Jared grew up in Bloominton, IL where he graduated from Central Catholic High School in 2010. Prior to graduation, Jared had already made the decision to enlist in the United States Marine Corps as an 0311 Infantryman. He served honorably for 4 years in the Marine Corps where he fought through two combat deployments in Afghanistan.
Shortly after receiving an honorable discharge from the Corps, Jared found a passion in welding and earned his Certification in Welding and Fabricating from Midwest Technical Institute.
Jared met the love of his life and soul mate, Kayla Perkins, with whom he made his home with in Bloomington along with their adopted fur-child Iggy.
Jared was tragically taken from us the morning of May 27th while walking home from a concert. He was stuck and killed by a semi-truck.
All donations will be used to help his family in this time of need with funeral costs and memorials.
