Hello friends, family, and strangers! My name is Brooke, I'm 24, and I'm an artist/photographer living in Los Angeles, California. Like many of us, this year has been tough financially. Although I'm thankfully still employed, I've been struggling to find new housing since my lease ended in October. I've been able to stay in my current apartment but was told I have to move out by February 1st. I finally got approved for a studio but with my other bills that have piled up and having to secure this space with a deposit, first months rent, and moving fees, I've come to Gofundme for help. The $4,000 I'm looking to raise is being put towards the first month's rent ($1,160), the deposit ($1265), and moving expenses including a Uhaul, utility set-up, and fees.
