In Memory of Luke: Support His Loved Ones

In Loving Memory of Luke Conklin

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Luke Conklin, who died on Monday, May 12th after a brave and determined 13-month battle with an aggressive form of brain cancer (Glioblastoma). He was 48 years old.

Luke approached life the same way he approached his illness—with strength, passion, and fierce determination. He fought with everything he had, all while continuing to be the incredible husband, father, friend, and colleague that so many cherished.

A true adventurer at heart, Luke was an avid trail runner, a devoted coach with the mountain bike team, and a lover of the beach, the mountains, and any chance to get outdoors. Whether cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs or spending quality time with his beloved wife Hilary, son Jack, and daughter Finley, Luke brought energy, humor, and heart to everything he did.

Professionally, Luke was deeply respected in the world of television, known for his work as Head of Casting on many well-known reality and game shows. He brought intelligence, creativity, and an unmatched work ethic to his craft. Personally, he was the friend who always showed up, the teammate who pushed you to be better, and the person who made you feel seen and supported.

Luke grew up in Santa Barbara, CA, and eventually made a home with his family in Ventura County, where he found joy in being just steps away from the mountain trails he loved so much.

This fundraiser has been created to support Hilary, Jack, and Finley during this incredibly difficult time. As many of you know, Finley has a very rare brain disease which has left her non-ambulatory and with many medical issues of her own - this will place an even heavier burden on Hilary's shoulders in Luke's absence. If you feel moved to contribute, your donation will go toward easing the burden of medical expenses, funeral costs, and helping this beautiful family find their footing in the days and months ahead.

While the family has chosen to process Luke's passing privately, they have felt your love from afar and are deeply grateful. They continue to appreciate support, but also kindly ask for space as they navigate their grief.

Thank you for loving Luke. He will be missed more than words can say, but his spirit, his laughter, and his love will live on in all of us.
