Help Morgan with medical bills

Hi, Brandywine Roller Derby is asking for help. Our dear teammate Morgan King (Massa Kiss't) was traveling with her pet parrot when she became the victim of a road rage shooting on Pa. Turnpike. She was coming home to Chester County from Pittsburgh where she and her partner Rick were visiting friends. She accidentally veered into another lane, not seeing the other car, and quickly went back into her lane. The driver of that car slowed down and as Morgan was starting to mouth the words "I'm sorry" she was shot.

 

She was able to pull over to the side of the road and call 911.

She had to be transported via ambulance, have trauma surgery on her small bowel and we are hoping she is home by Thanksgiving however she has a long road to full recovery.

 

As a league, we are helping to care for her smaller birds and cats but we are asking for the public’s assistance to help raise the necessary funds she will inevitably need for her medical bills from this crime.

 

Our initial goal is $25,000, however we are trying to raise as much money as possible, as the amount of money to help heal from something like this is unknowable at this time.
