My incredible dog Banjo has developed several growths on his groin, arm, and toe. After having samples taken, the results were inconclusive. In February, the vet told us his toe would need to be amputated in order to remove this nodule. At the time, none of the growths were causing him any pain, so we kept a close eye on them. Recently, though, Banjo has started to experience pain and discomfort from the toe growth, and the vet recommended removing it sooner rather than later.
Banjo is 11 years old, but he’s still the same vibrant, loving boy I rescued years ago, and I’m not ready to say goodbye to him yet. He has been with me through some of the hardest moments in my life, and now I want to be there for him. I haven’t had time to figure out how to cover the unexpected medical expenses, so I’ve made this to ask for help. Any support would mean the world to us as we work to get Banjo the care he needs.
Thank you so much for reading and for any kindness you can offer.
