Maria's Funeral Expenses

Our hearts have been shattered. The pain is suffocating. We have lost a loving mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother.

I am reaching out today to ask for help in memory of my mother Maria. She was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease many years ago. She finally got her kidney transplant back in 2008 and she was taking many immunosuppressants. Therefore, any sickness that was to come her way, can be very severe. In this case, Covid-19 decided to complicate things for my mother.

With the help of God, Doctors, and Nurses, she went through many forms of treatment. Unfortunately no form was able to help her. Our last hope was for the ventilator to help my mother’s lungs heal on their own. However, this past week, things got worse and worse by day. After spending 1 month and a half in the Intensive Care Unit her fight against this virus is over. She passed away the night of the 6th of February and was pronounced deceased on February 7th at 12 midnight. My father and sisters are grateful to have been right by her side as she passed onto the next life.

As most of you know, my mother was a generous and loving woman. When it came to helping others, my mother always tried to give her best. As her family goes through this heartbreak, I am asking for donations to help with funeral expenses.

Nuestros corazones han sido destrozados. El dolor es sofocante. Hemos perdido a una amorosa madre, hija, hermana y abuela.

Me acerco hoy para pedir ayuda en memoria de mi madre María. Ella fue diagnosticada con Enfermedad Renal Crónica hace muchos años. Finalmente recibió su trasplante de riñón en 2008 y estaba tomando muchos inmunosupresores. Por lo tanto, cualquier enfermedad que se le presente puede ser muy grave. En este caso, el Covid-19 decidió complicarle las cosas a mi madre.

Con la ayuda de Dios, médicos y enfermeras, pasó por muchas formas de tratamiento. Desafortunadamente, ninguna forma pudo ayudarla. Nuestra última esperanza era que el ventilador ayudara a que los pulmones de mi madre sanaran por sí solos. Sin embargo, la semana pasada, las cosas empeoraron y empeoraron día a día. Tras pasar 1 mes y medio en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos su lucha contra este virus ha terminado. Falleció la noche del 6 de febrero y fue declarada fallecida el 7 de febrero a las 12 de la noche. Mi padre y mis hermanas están agradecidos de haber estado a su lado cuando pasó a la siguiente vida.

Como la mayoría de ustedes saben, mi madre era una mujer generosa y amorosa. Cuando se trataba de ayudar a los demás, mi madre siempre trataba de dar lo mejor de sí misma. Mientras su familia atraviesa esta angustia, pido donaciones para ayudar con los gastos del funeral.
