Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out for help for my sweet cat, Brownie. She was once a community cat, and I took her in when she was at risk of being brought to a shelter. Since then, she’s become such a special part of my life; I met her in 2023 after both of my fur babies went to Heaven.

Over the past few days, Brownie hasn’t been herself. She’s been having accidents and showing symptoms that may point to a urinary infection or possibly a kidney issue. On top of that, she has also been losing weight, which is very concerning. The vet has recommended blood work and additional testing to figure out what’s going on and how to treat her. I just want answers so I can help her feel better and make sure she’s not in pain. Unfortunately, this is all happening at a really difficult time. I’ve recently had unexpected car repairs along with other bills, and covering the cost of Brownie’s medical care on top of that is overwhelming. Brownie is only about 5–6 years old, still just a baby, and she deserves to live a healthy, comfortable life. She’s such a gentle, loving cat, and it breaks my heart to see her like this.
