Hi everyone,

A stitchy friend of mine, Dagmar Wichner has had the most shocking start to 2025.

Dagmar and her family experienced a devastating house home at home early on Jan 1st 2025.

Herself, her Husband, their children and their cats all managed to escape the fire but Damgmar and her husband did need to receive medical treatment. Dagmar had problems breathing after inhaling smoke and her husband unfortunately received 2nd degree burns.

They have lost alot in the fire and r unable to return and enter the house to access what they could possibly save so the signs are not looking good.

At the moment the City have provided them with a temporary apartment but this is going to be a long journey back from this terrible incident.

We as a stitching community are great at supporting each other through tough times and I am hoping we will all come together to provide a little bit of financial assistance to help them in the difficult coming days, and hopefully in replacing some items they have lost. Even the smallest donation will help, it really is all appreciated.
