Colton has a small vessel disease and has had multiple vascular surgeries with the first at one year of age. His vascular system is mostly graphs and now the graphs which previously sustained him bringing blood to his vital organs are now adhering to his organs and causing damage , most recently damage to his only functioning kidney. Which brought us to this renal auto transplant surgery of recent . Despite a carefully orchestrated transplant of kidney away from graphs complications arose and he bleed out causing hemorrhagic shock to all organs . This was a huge setback . We planned on a recovery of kidney now he is recovering from the shock to liver and other organs . Kidney is unknown whether it will recover . Only time will tell . Dialysis is sustaining him for now while we wait and see. If kidney doesn’t recover then we will be put on a donor transplant list and have the anti rejection and immunosuppressant drugs to worry about and the fear of when donor kidney will be available . This has created a huge financial burden . This was a young man who works full time , going to school , and paying all his own bills (car rent phone food meds etc) We thank you all for your support and prayers.
