College Tour

The purpose of a college tour is to expose students to what a college campus is like. Students take college tours to learn about the college or universities facilities, as well as the student life, culture, academics, and program offerings. It allows students to get a firsthand look, so that they make a more informed decision when applying and ultimately attending school. Students are also able to speak with current students, talk to admissions, and financial aid, and maybe even see what real cafeteria food tastes like. For many African American students, they are not awarded the opportunity to tour multiple colleges, let alone HBCUs, but with PWY Future Scholars facilitating the tour and Crossroads College and Career planning the trip, we will be embarking on a 4 day, 3 night tour to 11 different campuses in PA, DE, MD, DC, NC and VA.
