Hello everyone! We are starting up a GOFUNDME page for my Husband Jonathan (Chef Sully)
He has always been a fun adventurous guy who truly loves helping others and expects nothing in return. He has not only been a role model but a mentor to everyone he has met. He loves his community and makes a connection with everyone he meets which is something I’ve always admired about him.
In November of 2019 we got married and were ready to take on the world…but shortly after in February of 2020 he was diagnosed with Leukemia, and to make things worse this past March of 2021 he was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. For those who don’t know, Jon was a Law Enforcement Agent for a few years until he was diagnosed with Cancer. He has always believed in helping others and while battling cancer Jon has done what many saw as impossible, he completed his Bachelors Degree and is now currently enrolled at the Texas A&M School of Law.
He has been going thru Chemo sessions constantly but unfortunately the worse has happened. His Cancers have progressed to the point where he is now at Stage 4 and they have become very aggressive. As you know, treatments and aftercare can be very expensive and unfortunately we are unable to afford His treatment costs anymore even with our insurances. Costs have just gone up to high.
Right now, Jonathan’s team of doctors are doing everything they can to determine the plan going forward and are exploring several options. They are consulting with some of the best Oncologist in the state of Texas including those at MD Anderson in Houston and San Antonio.
Those of you who know Jon know he’s a fighter and he plans to fight these cancers aggressively as much as he can. We will do whatever it takes to get Jon the best care in the country. With this being said, we need as much help as we can get from everyone who sees this.
Due to these unfortunate events of his progression Jon can no longer work at the moment which has made day to day expenses difficult to manage. The funds that are raised will go toward his medical expenses such as chemotherapy, hospital stays (if any), physical therapy and travel related costs.
Most importantly, this will take a huge burden off of Jon and myself so that we can focus on getting him the best care possible at the moment. We understand that these are difficult times for everyone and know that this is a lot to ask. Any support you can offer is much appreciated.
Even if you are unable to donate at this time please share this page with your friends, family and community. We ask that you keep Jonathan and our family in your thoughts and prayers. We are still hopeful that he can beat this and will update you again very soon
