Dear Friends and Family,

I am organizing this GoFundMe for Carlos, Brittany and Paisley to help them get through a tough time.

Last fall, Carlos found out he had a brain aneurysm, which would eventually require surgery. Shortly after his diagnosis, Brittany and Carlos welcomed their first-born baby girl, Paisley. While adapting to their new life as parents, Carlos was simultaneously preparing to get the operation to remove the aneurysm. Because of the severity and unknowns that come with having an aneurysm, Carlos was instructed to take it easy until they could operate, which meant he couldn't work during this duration. On February 20, 2024, Carlos went in to have the aneurysm removed. The surgeon reported that everything went as well as it possibly could have and Carlos was on the road to recovery and doing exceedingly better everyday.

Fast-forward 3 weeks, on March 10, 2024 Carlos was rushed to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital due to a stroke. Since then, he has been held at the hospital and has had several strokes since. Doctors have concluded that the strokes have effected almost all of his brain stem, meaning there's irreparable damage. Long-term outcome is still unknown at this time but the path to recovery will be extremely hard on the family, not only emotionally but financially. Brittany and family have stayed by Carlos' side day and night through it all and could really use any support they can get to help with lost wages and piling up medical bills due to the intensive care treatment.

Every donation will go directly towards easing these stressful days, allowing Carlos' family to be able to be there 100% for him day and night and to help with any medical bills that they foresee.
