Greg Simmons Celebration of Life

We want to thank every single person who has reached out and loved on our family during this time in our lives. Having an amazing community helps us get through the hard days.

Update: It is with heavy hearts that we share that Greg passed away Saturday January 28th surrounded by family. 

Any donations will help the family cover funeral costs and final medical bills. 

We want to thank everyone for all the love and support over the past 5 months. We cannot thank everyone enough.

Hi everyone. I’m creating this gofundme on behalf of my father-in-law Greg for his fight against cancer.

In September Greg went to the doctor for a lingering cough. After multiple scans and blood work he finally received the devastating news that he has Stage 4 Lung cancer. After the PET Scan, the cancer is in his lung, lymph nodes, liver, a lesion on his leg and two lesions on his brain.

He did have the right mutation to start Immunotherapy. He started treatment at the beginning of October. He will go back in December for another PET scan.

What they need most right now is prayers. So please, first and foremost pray for Greg & Renee and the rest of the family. With hospital stays and treatment also comes bills. To know Greg is to know a man of ethics, hard work, and grit. We also know that he doesn’t ask for help. So in honoring him, I will ask instead… Will you please donate to help the Simmons family on this incredibly unfair journey? Every dollar will directly help them focus on what matters.
