Once upon a time, a mega talented Chicago gal named Jacquie exploded into each of our lives. She’s a pretty memorable gal. She came to Southern California many many moons ago and whipped us all into shape in one way or another. She pours her heart into her friendships, projects, performances, classes, community, training; everything she does, she gives her all.

Now she needs to receive.

September of this year, Jacquie found out she has stage 1, grade 2 breast cancer. She will have a surgery called a lumpectomy on January 5th to remove the tumor and 1 to 3 lymph nodes. She will have a 2 week recovery then will start Radiation for 4 to 6 weeks depending on pathology results. It is still undetermined whether or not she will need Chemotherapy as well. This stuff is scary, and lonely, and no fun.

Friends, each of us will likely take our turn needing such support from each other. It’s time to rally around our firecracker friend and help her get through this and helping with the financial strain will help tremendously. Every little bit helps. As she is a movement instructor who won’t be able to move much, she will not be working much. She will need to rest. Let’s help her rest and recover so we can have her back as sparkling as ever
