In May this year, Friday the 13th, my daughter Evelyn's world was turned upside-down. Due to a horrific car crash deliberately caused by someone who shall not be named she has had to endure dozens of fractures throughout her body - leaving her bedridden until recently.

 

Notably, her left hand was almost severed off but thankfully to brave people and medicos was saved. Eve has broken all 4 limbs and suffered damage to multiple vital organs - liver, bowels, heart and lungs.

 

As a mother, it has been a roller-coaster of emotions witnessing her pain and anguish and seeing how determined she is to regain her strength and independence.

Our hopes for this fund-raiser are to raise enough money to do any necessary modifications to Evelyn's living space, in time for when she finally can leave hospital.
