Hello Family and Friends. I ask desperately that you please read this post❤️‍

On Monday September 8th my older brother Daniel started to experience a headache and blurred vision at work. His girlfriend, Kim, drove him to the hospital, as he was experiencing other symptoms, which was later determined to be a seizure. The next 24 hours at the ER have included numerous tests, scans, labs, etc. On Tuesday September 9th we were informed that Daniel has a 4cm cyst on the right side of his brain, as well as 2 other smaller cysts. He also has a cyst on his lungs. As of Wednesday September 10th, there is a possibility of a craniotomy needing to be done. Tests are still underway in the hopes that there is a less invasive form of treatment. We don’t have a definitive answer as to what has caused the cysts yet.

Daniel is the second oldest of our 7 siblings. He is a a loving son, amazing big/little brother, the best uncle, friend, nephew and cousin. He loves to travel, run Tuff Mudders, and be the best Costco employee! He is kind, caring, and is always willing to help out anyone in need. It is so incredibly difficult to see him go through this ordeal, but he is brave, positive, and keeping his spirits up (as well as everyone else’s!)

It has been a rough year for Daniel and Kim, and this unexpected turn has added a financial burden. Daniel will not be able to return to work for an extended period of time (we don’t know exactly how long yet), and Kim will be caring for him full time during his recovery. It’s a difficult thing to ask, but if any of our family, friends, friends of family or friends of friends are able to donate to help Daniel and Kim with the unexpected medical bills as well as other expenses it would be greatly appreciated!
