fighting to keep our home after losing so much

My name is George, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart. My wife, Autumn, and I are doing everything we can to hold our family together, but right now, we’re facing the unthinkable — we’re at risk of losing our home.

We have three amazing kids, including one with special needs who depends on stability more than most. Our cat, Lilith, is more than a pet — she’s our emotional support and our guardian, always sensing when things aren’t right and curling up beside us when we need comfort. This home is more than just walls. It’s where we’ve built memories, where our children feel safe, and where we’ve weathered so many storms.

I’ve been battling chronic medical issues — diabetic neuropathy, nerve damage, and severe pain that affects my ability to function day-to-day. I’m on multiple medications and preparing for a spinal stimulator trial that may finally offer relief. To be transparent, I’ve included photos of some of my medical scans from the past year so you can see what we’re facing.

Because of these health struggles, my ability to work has been affected, and despite our best efforts, we fell behind on our mortgage. The total needed to save our home is $12,050. I’ve already managed to save $2,500, but we can’t make it the rest of the way without help.

It’s incredibly hard for me to ask for this. I’ve always taken pride in handling things on my own — but I’m learning that growth sometimes means being honest and asking for help when it’s truly needed.
