Hello everyone,

My name is Garrett, and I’m reaching out because in 30 days, I’m facing homelessness. Due to ongoing mental health struggles, my parents—whom I love very much—have given me 30 days to move out. I truly understand and don’t blame them.

Right now, the only way I can avoid being on the streets is by fixing my car. It’s a hybrid, and the only problem is the battery. I’ve found a company, Green Tec Auto, that will install a refurbished battery for $2,000. I’m not asking for a new battery, just enough to get my car running safely again—so I have a place to sleep, lock up, and stay out of harm’s way.
