CUDECA Hospice - In honour of Lorraine Smith

Donation protected
My mum, Lorraine Smith, died from cancer on Monday 26th June at 3.30pm in the beautiful Cudeca hospice.

My Mum LOVED being at Cudeca, from the moment she arrived she was so happy here. It is a beautiful environment where she could spend as much time outside as she liked and do whatever she wanted. We had several girly sleepovers under the stars, memories that will last me a lifetime. The staff - every single doctor, nurse and helper became like family, so kind and loving, and made her feel so comfortable. They were also the arms around me and my family supporting us in the most difficult times. Thanks to Cudeca and the wonderful staff my Mum had a good and peaceful death. I honestly feel there is nothing I could ever do that could repay them for this. This is a small start.

CUDECA runs on donations and was set up by a British woman living on the Costa Del Sol. The organisation provides end of life care FREE whether you are Spanish or English (or anything else) at your home or in the hospice. It costs £2000 a week for a room and my Mum spent 3 weeks here at the end of her life so I aiming to raise a minimum £6000. My Mum's only wishes were to raise money for this brilliant place that brought her, and her family, such peace at the end of her life.

I would be honoured if you would celebrate my Mum and her wishes by making a donation in her honour to Cudcua.
Thank you for your support.
And if you knew my Mum, lucky you. She was the best!
