Valerie Cooksey

Valerie Cooksey is a beloved elementary school music teacher, church musician, and woman after God's own heart. She is currently walking the very difficult journey of breast cancer. Many of us have asked how we can help. We have created this Gofundme as an opportunity to help her in a tangible way. She is continuing to try to work as much as she can, but that is proving to be more and more challenging as time goes on. Being a single Mom and a school teacher, her resources are limited. The medical expenses are building, and her paid time off is quickly being used up. There is no pressure at all. Valerie was very hesitant to allow us to do this as she didn't want to impose on anyone. Her faith is amazing, and she fully trusts that God's got her and will use all of this to His glory. She has been blown away by the amount of love and prayers and support she continues to receive. Keep the strong prayers coming! We know that God will continue to work his miracle in and through our dear Valerie.
