Walker STRONG

Donation protected
As some of you know but a lot of you don’t, my little cousin, Walker Johnson, had a Stroke! Yes, a Stroke at 17 years old. This is every mom, dad, and sister’s worst nightmare! Walker suddenly became unresponsive Tuesday night at work, he was very confused, frustrated, very pale, and was unable to answer simple questions…

-Walker what month is it? 17

-How tall are you? Water

-What’s your Dads name? Dad

This is very scary because I cannot even fathom the feelings Jim, Trish and Riley are going through.

Walker has endured many hours of testing, CT scans, spinal tap, MRI, blood work, EKG, and has seen serval different doctors. Tuesday started at Urgent Care then to SSM St. Joes West to an emergency rush to Cardinal Glennon. They are still doing testing and trying to get as many answers as the good Lord can give them. Everyone is wanting a better understanding as to why this happened and help prevent any more in the future. Walker is STRONG and this is an absolute miracle in so many ways. He is slowly getting better. All of Walker’s motor skills are perfect the stroke affected the left side of his brain (which hold speech and memory) therefore certain things he wants to say are coming out wrong.
Please send your prayers!! Jim and Trish have absolutely no idea I am doing this, and I don’t want any more stress on them. They are ALL extremely overwhelmed. So please keep the text and phone calls limited, absolutely no hard feelings. Feel free to reach out to any of us family members and we will update you the best we can. All Jim and Trish’s energy and time is being spent by Walker’s side. They have not left him, of course I wouldn’t expect anything less. With the amazing support from Riley’s boyfriend Hunter, he drove her in safely from school in all the nasty weather. The family is all together now and need our support. This was unexpected and I can’t imagine the stress it is putting on them, mentally and physically.

To help keep their focus on Walker and getting him better, any donation, prayers, wishes, love and support that you can give is tremendously going to be appreciated. I am going to set it up to where all donations will go to them.

Bills are the last thing any of them should have to worry about and any little bit can help. Obviously, Jim and Trish are not working, Riley is missing class and work herself. Family comes first! I figured some extra gas money and food money would be appreciated too.

Thank you so kindly with so much love,

-Kirbie xoxo
