PVE - Odyssey of the Mind Team

Join us in congratulating our very own Palm Valley Elementary Odyssey of the Mind team! These like-minded, creative thinking, problem solving enthusiests, we know as our children, have earned a spot at the 2023 World Finals!

Odyssey of the Mind is a non-profit academic competition that focuses on skills in problem-solving, critical thinking, teamwork, math, language arts, science, writing, engineering, and the performing arts with a limited budget that inspires repurposing and recycling.

Thousands of students from all over the world will come together to compete in the Odyssey of the Mind World Finals at Michigan State University on May 24th-27th, 2023 and our team is excited to have been selected!

These kids have worked so hard all year long crafting and honing their skills after school and even on weekends preparing for this very moment! Placing 1st at the regional competition, and 3rd at the state competition, it's now time to see how we fare on the Worlds stage.

Your support will help with the costs associated with competing at the highest level of this academic program. With your donation, expenses such as, team regristration, transportation to and from the event, shipping costs for the hand-made props, lodging in the dorms and meals become manageable.
