Hi, my name is Ali Elmas and my hometown is Hatay, Turkey. We moved to the United States in 2000 and have owned Bosphorus Restaurant on N. Beverwyck in Lake Hiawatha for years. We still have families stuck under rubble back home and 3 out of 4 homes are destroyed. Roads are not driveable as they are cracked. It's cold and rainy - I am starting this gofundme to buy supplies (jackets, boots, hats, diapers, wipes, food, water, gas, electric heaters etc) for the victims of the multiple earthquakes that took place on February 6th. I am currently in Istanbul, Turkey. I have already sent blankets/jackets/hats/baby supplies/canned food last night with a truck that was headed toward our hometown. The funds will be 100% used for supplies that are needed for people to survive after they are rescued and also the rescuers are working around the clock without any food or water (all stores were destroyed, hospitals as well). I personally have ordered/bought supplies and will be sending it to Hatay and other areas that were affected by this earthquake such as Maras and Malatya. Any help is much appreciated
