Hi everyone, Thank you for taking the time to listen to Teddys story. Teddy is my sweet rescue dog, who is facing a serious problem with his right eye right now. He has a deep ulcer that’s gone beyond what eye drops can treat. The eye specialist has explained that the next step is conjunctival graft surgery which a procedure where they use healthy tissue from the eye’s outer layer to help repair and protect the ulcer.

Teddy was rescued from an abusive home where he was neglected and mistreated. Despite everything he’s been through, he’s always been incredibly loving and gentle. It hurts watching him in pain day after day, especially when I know there’s a chance to help him live comfortably again.

Conjunctival graft surgery is a procedure that’s designed to promote healing by transplanting healthy tissue to the ulcer area, which can reduce pain and prevent further complications. Without surgery, there’s a risk of infection and the ulcer getting even worse.
