As many of you may know, Jamie had a crash in the supersport race at the Isle of Man TT on Friday and is currently dealing with a number of significant injuries that will take a great deal of time and huge grit and determination to make a good recovery from.
His tibia and fibula were both compound fractured, and he suffered a partial rupture of a small artery in his lower leg, which resulted in a large loss of blood.
He also has a fractured sternum, a hematoma on his adrenal gland, and elevated cardiac enzymes due to bruising of the muscles around his heart.
In addition, he has extensive bruising and some lacerations to his lungs which is making breathing very difficult.
He is also bed bound due to a burst fracture of his L3 vertebra which he will need to be re assed in the morning for whether or not the doctors will have to operate on.
Jamie has just gone into surgery now and is potentially facing multiple operations on his leg.
There are still a couple of areas that haven’t been scanned yet due to dealing with the more pressing issues. Whilst he is in surgery for his leg the doctors will be doing another scan on the other areas.
whilst the above injuries are hard enough to deal with on their own Jamie has recently started his own plumbing business and will face the difficulty and stress of trying to make sure the the business is able to maintain its contracted jobs at the same time as worrying about recovering to a healthy condition.
Jamie would never ask for any help from anyone so we are asking for some help for him. Anything you can do to help is greatly appreciated from us all.
Thank you all for the kind and supporting messages.
(we will update when we can)

THANK YOU ⭐
Genuinely cannot believe the amount of support and generosity everyone has shown to Jamie Cringle. I am incredibly thankful to each and every one of you who have donated and shared Jamie’s story. You don’t realise how much weight you have taken off of Jamie’s shoulders and just at the right time.
We have recently just had an update from the doctors here at Aintree.
Jamie was due to go into surgery this morning for his right leg where he was set to have an external fixed cage. Before they did this, they chose to carry out more MRI scans which they couldn’t do if a cage was fitted.
After Jamie had his scans he went straight down into surgery where he has had a cage fixed to his lower right leg to stabilise the breaks in his tibia and fibula. At this time they have left the wounds around this open with a vacuum to take away the gathering blood and fluids.
Unfortunately, the scans also revealed there are a few more areas that Jamie has injured. Jamie has a complex fracture on his left ankle (which many of you may know, he has broken before in 3 places) the ankle is currently back slabbed and awaiting more scans.
Jamie’s right elbow also has so severe deep tissue damage and will also need more scans on so they can see the full extent of the damage.
Now Jamie is somewhat stable, he is going to be transferred to Walton hospital tonight where the lower spine and lumbar specialists can deal with his burst fracture L3 vertebra. We are still waiting for the plan of attack for this.
Once they have attended to Jamie’s back he will be brought back over to the critical care ward at Aintree and will undergo further treatment on his tibia and fibula in the right leg, his ankle on the left leg and his right elbow.
With all this Jamie is still struggling to breathe due to his pulmonary contusions which is causing a bit of fluid on his lungs and his cracked sternum.
TO THE POSITIVE
Jamie is very upbeat and still trying to make all of the nurses laugh. He knows how tough the road ahead of him is and knows exactly what it’s going to take of him and he is ready for it.
Jamie wants to reach out to you all individually for your kind words and support which he will hopefully be able to do in the coming week.
When we have more updates we will let you know.
Thank you ❤️
