Andrew is an extraordinary person. He is deeply caring and has always put his family first—everything he does reflects how much he loves and shows up for the people closest to him. He is a devoted husband to Theresa and a loving father to their three-year-old daughter, Juliette. He is a son to parents, Bob and Kim, and the best older brother and friend to his sister, Rachel.
Andrew was recently (mid-April) diagnosed with a high-grade thalamic glioma, an aggressive brain tumor. He is receiving exceptional care from the Neuro-Oncology team at UCSF Brain Tumor Center. Resection is not an option, but he will be undergoing chemotherapy and radiation.
This diagnosis has changed everything for our family, and the road ahead will be physically and emotionally exhausting.
As a family, we will continue to surround Andrew, Theresa, and Juliette with love and support every step of the way. Many of us are nearby and ready to help however we can. Still, there are ways we can all come together to help ease the burden they are carrying and allow them to focus on Andrew's care and raising Juliette.
So many of you have kindly asked how you can help, and we’re incredibly grateful. Donations will go toward meals, medical-related expenses, and giving Andrew and Theresa the space to focus on what matters most—their time together as a family and Andrew's treatment.
If you’re able to give, thank you. If not, sharing this page is another meaningful way to support them. We are so grateful for our community and ask that you please keep Andrew, Theresa, and Juliette in your thoughts as we face this together.
