The Struggle is Real

If you've ever known someone who takes care of everyone else, whether they ask for help or not, but does not ask for anything in return for themselves, then you know my mom. From what I've heard, she's been this way her whole life and right now she is unable to help others because she needs to help herself. She was diagnosed with kidney related cancer a few months ago and has been taking oral chemotherapy ever since. Because of the chemotherapy, she has had to significantly cut back on hours worked on account of how tired and weak she has been. Every month is a struggle to stay caught up with the essential bills and the cost of chemotherapy and that kind of thing will wear on anyone, especially someone who, in addition to having cancer, also lives with rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn's disease, and many other hidden diseases or conditions.
