Pu’unui playground

A recent social media post regarding the rundown and outdated state of the playground at Pu’unui Park has gained attention of the local community. This sparked a conversation on what we can do as residents of Waikoloa Village to improve the original Waikoloa Park and give back to the community. Through much effort and teamwork we have gotten approval from the county to proceed with restoration.
The land was set aside for the park as the Village began to expand 50 years ago. The park and play structures were developed in the late 80s and since then, it has become what it is now today. It’s time we update the original playground of Waikoloa, make it a safe and a fun place where our community can gather and children can play.
Mahalo for taking the time to learn about our project, we are beyond grateful for every donation. We know it will have a huge impact on improving this playground for our keiki.
