Putting Kristopher Martin To Rest

If 2020 was not bad enough, we lost a family member completely unexpectedly. Kristopher's birthday is August 25th, he would have been 36 and he was cut short by a week due to an unknown cause. This is such an unforeseen circumstance that puts everyone at a standstill. Aside from his mother and father that should never have to bury a child, he leaves behind a 7 year old daughter who is unsure how she should comprehend everything. Kristopher has also left behind siblings who are beside themselves and many young nieces and nephews that meant so very much to him. His family extended went well beyond just blood and we know this will affect all of them. To imagine a life without Kristopher (or Batman as he liked to refer to himself), his laugh, his jokes and just all around presence is unreal to those closest to him. There is a void and a pain that is unimaginable. We as a family are trying our hardest to put together a funeral/memorial as best possible, but the funeral home has left us with a $10,000 bill that is not feasible, especially during these difficult times. No family should have to wrestle with the thought of not being able to give a loved one a proper goodbye. Any possible donation would be greatly appreciated to ease the families struggle to put their son, father, brother, uncle to rest. **I, Amy Irving am the mother of Kristopher’s daughter, Layla. I have had a long-standing relationship with his family through growing up in Farmingdale, NY as well as befriending his siblings. I am organizing this fundraiser with full family permission in order to use the entirety of these funds to pay all funeral home/cremation costs.
