Alaska Mission Trip - Putney Family

This June, our family will be going on a mission trip to Alaska as chaperones with the Senior High students from our church (Grace Church)! Claire has a big heart for missions and says she wants to be a missionary when she grows up. We’re so excited to help her explore what being a missionary looks like.

While in Alaska, we’ll be serving the community in and around Anchorage, doing gospel presentations at the farmers’ market, and evangelizing on many different occasions throughout our stay. Many people there face deep struggles—long, dark winters, isolation, high rates of depression, and some of the highest rates of sexual abuse in the US. Would you please pray that the people we interact with are open to hearing God’s Word and would see their need for Christ?

Our family’s travel and ministry cost will be around $2,000 so we’ve set a goal to raise $1,000. If you feel led to give or to share this, we’d be so grateful. Thank you for helping us in our efforts to advance the gospel in Alaska!
