Put The Wind in Captain Mike's Sails

Donation protected
Long-time St. Croix resident, Captain Mike Klein, had the wind blown out of his sails on Friday, October 2, while working on his beloved boat, Jolly Roger.

Mike had a major heart attack and was medivac'd to Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami early Saturday morning to receive proper care.  After a few days of testing and treatment, Mike will now undergo triple bypass surgery on Wednesday, October 07, 2020.

As you can imagine, this will be a life-altering condition, not only Mike, but for 3-year-old Michael and wife Bridget, too.  The successful Jolly Roger Charters, which is the family's sole source of income,  will come to a halt as Mike begins many months of recovery and cardiac therapy, some of which will take place in Florida. This will be financially overwhelming to the Kleins, and they need our help.  They will bear unforeseen medical expenses related to Mike's cardiac condition and stay in Florida, as well as usual living expenses, like rent, food, gas, WAPA, etc.

Mike has been a resident of the VI for over 30 years and has done much for the St. Croix community.  In turn, let's support Mike by contributing to the fund, which will help ease this ongoing financial burden for the Kleins.
