They say if you want something you've never had - you have to do something you've never done.

So here I am.

Someone asked me - what do you want for your birthday? And as usual, I was stumped. But the more I thought about it, I knew exactly what I wanted. Last year, I founded Angels & Saints PoBoys and since then there has been more drama, sweat and tears than you can imagine establishing this thing - but it's my baby and I'm so proud of what it's become. Plus, anyone who comes in contact with it, falls in love with the food instantly. We have a return customer rate of 78%, which is crazy. I think we got one y'all!

I always say "all I have to do is get them to the table." And that's what I'm coming to my tribe to help me do. For my birthday this year, I would like to put Angels & Saints on the road! And what better day to do that than... on my birthday! March 25th - we hit the road, for our first test run, God willing!

I've found this amazing company called On The Go LA , a full-service food truck rental company that offers daily rentals - in addition, they provide access to high-traffic stops/areas, and operational support to small restaurants and local chefs to help them get mobile and market their food to the area.

Los Angeles is embarking on the festival season as the weather is getting warmer and more people are hitting the streets. As some of you may know, Marketing is a numbers game - so visibility is paramount. In order to get to my goal of opening an Angels & Saints food truck, and storefront locations, I have to get to the people. Now is the time for me to take this company to do so.

I've set a goal of $2500 to pay for all costs (including wages for the helpers who will be working with me all day), equipment purchases, and marketing materials I'll need to make this first trip out on the town a successful one - so we can do it again, and again and again. And most importantly - get 'em to the table!

I've prepared a financial breakdown/proposal that I will gladly send to anyone interested as I want you to feel confident in your donation and as transparent as possible for you all. Feel free to send me a message with your email and I'll send it right over.

I'm not asking for any set amount - please only do what you can. Even if you just want to help by sending the equivalent of purchasing a sandwich or some gumbo... EVERY cent counts and I am grateful for it all.

And that's it. I'm super excited (and scared) to jump out and chase this passion of mine - but I heard if you follow your passion, you'll never work a day in your life. So here's to the first step.
