Shipping & Duty to send books to Ghana
Donation protected
Hi, it's Michele, and I'm raising funds to complete the last part of the project we started in October when I had the privilege of volunteering for a whole month.
Thanks to donations, we have completed the sports field, including a football pitch, volleyball and netball courts, and provided two huge boxes of medical supplies for wound care. We have completed the build for the school room, headmistress office, and community library; we will add the bookshelves and furniture next week. Now, all we need to do is to send books from the UK to Asemapnaye School.
Books are essential to their education as they do not have phones, tablets, computers or even WiFi and they are lucky to have a pencil to write with. Books will enhance the lives of the school children and the older community, and I know how grateful they are for our input to help enhance their lives and improve their community.
So thank you to anyone that has or is about to donate, without your help, this would not have been possible.
It would be a wonderful Christmas gift to finish the project and give the community the school classroom and library to enrich their lives and help future generations in this rural farming village in Ghana.
Even the smallest amount will go a long way and will be gratefully received.
The books will come through the charity 'Books2Africa'; we need to raise £500 towards shipping costs and another £500 for the duty and transport to the school.
It would be a wonderful Christmas Gift to tell them they are about to receive 1,000 books
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and donating to this worthy cause.
Much Love
