Put a NEW GRILL on an OLD 1961 MSgt Marine!
Donation protected
In a very scary and freak accident on the senior softball field this past Sunday, "Doc" Doxtader caught a line drive in the mouth. Thanks to a fellow Marine medic; Brad Noble, of Pebble Creek, Doc was assisted on the field until the ambulance arrived. What could have been an very different outcome, had he been hit in the head, fortunately minimized the damage to losing his front four teeth.
He was able to negotiate a $13,000 treatment and implants down to $8,000. We would really like to help him cover these out-of-pocket expenses and relieve some of the added stress on his long road to recovery.
It will be at least a six month process and treatment plan to get him back to a pearly smile again. So if you see Doc on the field in the near future, understand that his weight loss is due to eating his rations through a straw! YIKES!
Many of you know Doc, but most don't know that he served over 25 years in the Marine Corps. He has served our country well and we hope that you will help us put a NEW GRILL on this old Marine. Let's give him something to smile about. Please share with your friends, family, softball crew, and maybe even an oral surgeon or two. LOL
